Camera Club Competitions

Folks,

As many of you know, I am the President of Watford Camera Club (WCC). I am also an active member of the camera clubs Advanced Photographers group. Last week we had our first Projected Digital Images competition.

The images are projected on a screen annoymously and are then judged by an external judge certified by the Chiltern Association of Camera Clubs (CACC)

Images are judged on:-

• Initial impact

• Artistic merit

• Lasting appeal

• Emotional impact

• Story telling

• Techical quality

I am really pleased to say that my images were both awarded 20 out of a possible 20 marks and were adjudged to be 1st and 2nd place for the evening.
